I’ve spent the last seven plus years building products that bridge complex technology with real human needs. My work spans AI-powered interfaces, enterprise tools, and government systems, always with a focus on making sophisticated capabilities feel intuitive and trustworthy.

What started as traditional product design has evolved into something more specialized: crafting experiences around machine learning and LLM technologies. I’ve developed a deep understanding of how these systems work, which allows me to design interfaces that properly expose their capabilities while respecting their limitations.

What drives me

I thrive when working across diverse product domains, identifying patterns and gaps that can be transformed through strategic, system-level design. I can dive deep with engineers on implementation, brainstorm with designers on user flows, or strategize with PMs on roadmaps. There’s something deeply satisfying about making intricate problems crystal clear for everyone involved.

My approach to AI product design

The rapid evolution of LLMs has fundamentally changed how we think about user interfaces. I focus on creating experiences that harness AI’s capabilities while maintaining human agency and understanding. It’s not about making AI invisible, it’s about making it trustworthy and genuinely useful.

My background shapes my perspective

As a first-generation American whose family immigrated from Vietnam to Washington in the early 1980s, I understand how thoughtfully designed products can create opportunities and break down barriers. This drives my commitment to making complex technology accessible to everyone.
